Those adaptation issues aside, this episode is just kind of dull. It follows the basics of reincarnation isekaito a T: Rudy dies in modern Japan, is suddenly aware that he's a baby, figures out he's been reborn inanother world, and sets out to make the most of it. In his case, learning that he's been reborn in afantasy world where magic is possible is the major perk of his new life. That his new mom, Zenith, appears to be a mage is even better, because that means that he has the talent to actually do somethingwith his dream of using magic. To that end, little Rudy learns to read so that by age five(ish) he can castintermediate-level spells competently, leading to his parents hiring him a magic tutor named Roxy.
Alisaie and her brother attended the Studium at a young age and were given grimoires by Louisoix before he left for Eorzea. The twins were unaware that their tomes were halves of a larger grimoire, signifying Louisoux's wish for the twins to understand each other and share a common goal.
Altair Mathers was born into the Mathers family, a noble house active within the Dragon Kingdom of Lugnica. The wealthy family owned, governed, and occupied large portions of populated land in the north-east region of the nation. The era in which Altair was born into had a distinct ignorance regarding magic, which was unfortunate for Mathers who possessed incredible latent magical talent. In his youth, Altair became known for his magical potency, although he struggled to comprehend the power within him. At a certain point he began suffering inexplicable burning sensations that would last for hours or even days and could not be explained by any doctor. As he tended to thrash and moan during these random moments of pain, no one ever dared comfort the boy. In fact, his family considered him a burden because of his unexplainable condition. As time went on, he became more accustomed to the pain to the point that he could behave normally whilst under the burning sensation. 2ff7e9595c
